The journey to Chalahn Falls was quite an epic one starting in the darkness, necessary for the 25km round trip that was planned for that day. Unfortunately during the time of year, leeches were at their peak and I flicked off thirty or more leeches during the day. Any time we stood still or stopped to rest, they would rain from the forest canopy. With the trek behind me though, I can say the trip was worth it to take in this beautiful, luscious and seldom viewed forest scene (although it’s not a walk I am in a rush to repeat!).

Fine Art Papers

Our prints are created using beautiful fine art cotton rag paper. The paper holds rich colours as well as subtle detail and is a perfect pairing for our photographic art. The museum grade paper meets ISO 9706 Paper Aging Resistance to ensure an archival grade print, suitable for handing down through generations. We recommend liaising with your local framer about how to match your frame, matting and glass to best suit your print, your home, and your décor. All paper prints come rolled in a heavy-duty tube to protect them. The measurements supplied are of the outer dimensions of the paper. Each print contains a white border between 5-10cm, depending on size, for the purposes of presentation and framing.

Float-framed Canvas Prints

Our Canvas prints have beautiful texture and richness and come framed and ready-to-hang in your home or workplace. The canvas is of excellent quality with a fine texture and excellent archival ratings, and together with the pigment inks, have been lab tested to last over 100 years without fading when displayed suitably. Stretcher bars are from environmentally friendly regrowth forest in Australia and New Zealand. We strictly avoid timber from non-regrowth forests and timbers with high tannin and tannic acid in order to preserve the environment and the archival quality of the canvas. Float-frames come in several finishes. You can view these finishes on our Print Information page. Once you order the Float-framed canvas of your choice, we will be in contact directly to confirm your choice of frames.

Acrylic

A luminous and contemporary presentation of our print behind a layer of acrylic, and with a backing of 3mm Dibond Aluminium Composite Panel and aluminium mounting frame for rigidity and hanging flush against your wall. While our fine art papers and canvases are rated for 100 years+ of use, acrylic is rated for 30+ years without change.
