Secret and Sacred

This is the most spiritual place I’ve ever been in my whole life: Bilungunha (Hancock Gorge) at Karijini National Park in Western Australia. When I went there in 2015 (probably my third visit… maybe fourth?), I hiked there before sunrise with my head-torch, and got to stop there and be still and quiet in this incredible natural place by myself for hours. It was so peaceful (despite the noise of the water!), and it just felt so secret and special. Every time I have been there, I have felt that amazing feeling of awe – the recognition that I’m just one small blip in a gigantic universe – and it humbles me.

It’s not always quiet there though – lots of people like to take inner-tubes down there and they swim and laugh and do dive-bombs… which is totally allowed and everyone is entitled to a bit of fun!!… but I do wonder how some places can affect me in a completely different way to others. I will probably never know!

Fine Art Papers

Our prints are created using beautiful fine art cotton rag paper. The paper holds rich colours as well as subtle detail and is a perfect pairing for our photographic art. The museum grade paper meets ISO 9706 Paper Ageing Resistance to ensure an archival grade print, suitable for handing down through generations. We recommend liaising with your local framer about how to match your frame, matting and glass to best suit your print, your home, and your décor. All paper prints come rolled in a heavy-duty tube to protect them. The measurements supplied are of the outer dimensions of the paper. Each print contains a white border between 5-10cm, depending on size, for the purposes of presentation and framing.

Float-framed Canvas Prints

Our Canvas prints have beautiful texture and richness and come framed and ready-to-hang in your home or workplace. The canvas is of excellent quality with a fine texture and excellent archival ratings, and together with the pigment inks, have been lab tested to last over 100 years without fading when displayed suitably. Stretcher bars are from environmentally friendly regrowth forest in Australia and New Zealand. We strictly avoid timber from non-regrowth forests and timbers with high tannin and tannic acid in order to preserve the environment and the archival quality of the canvas. Float-frames come in several finishes. You can view these finishes on our Print Information page. Once you order the Float-framed canvas of your choice, we will be in contact directly to confirm your choice of frames.

Acrylic

A luminous and contemporary presentation of our print behind a layer of acrylic, and with a backing of 3mm Dibond Aluminium Composite Panel and aluminium mounting frame for rigidity and hanging flush against your wall. While our fine art papers and canvases are rated for 100 years+ of use, acrylic is rated for 30 years without change.

Postage to Australian and New Zealand addresses is free! If you are an international purchaser, please order your print as usual (or contact us in advance) and we will send you a quote for the postage of your selected prints.
